Respectful not Dignified

Listening to some people that have been close to me for years have led me to new conclusions on where I am in life. I know I have been called to do something new in life that has me in another place that is unfamiliar to me. Strange to some that I am going in another direction, but at this time I am not running from what God is asking me to do.


I ran from God most of my life only to find that he was always around me running right along side me, through all the trials and tribulations all I needed to do was call out to him. I chose the latter of using myself as my own way. Now that he is asking me to be a vessel of inspiration I cannot run, I'm being held to a higher level of accountability and responsibility. Even in this am I fearful of being reject, shunned, called a Bible thumper, and unaccepted, even to those who once were in my corner.

I must always remember that when you are called to do something for God it is your chance to show that you are cut from the same mold as everyone else. Show that God is using that something as a testimony to show what you have gone through, and how you got through. It may be seen as a toot of your own horn, but God is always heard the loudest when his words are spoken. Just because I pray and have a message I want to convey does not exempt me from the struggles that everyone in life faces!

My struggles certainly are unseen, and unheard, but they are real! I have come to understand that God specializes in fixing all of our broken, severed, sprained,and bruised parts. Ego's need not apply they will always bruise easily when it comes to being heard! From nothing doing, to something productive shows God can heal people with issues, relationships that seem to have no way, and things we feel that aren't working in our favor.

Through writing God left a manual to teach us to be victorious, and blessed, but he also showed what disobedience, foolishness and strife can lead us as well. He showed us the soundtrack to our lives before we even knew how to hear his message! Knowing his mercy and grace gives us the toughness and steadfastness to come face to face with anything.

There is a strong distinction between the treasure and the vessel. the treasure is inside me and was a gift from God, you must remember we are the vessel. The treasure is inside of all of you! God places His treasure within our hearts. He prizes, protects and prospers us!
